Before these posts, Johnny was the Haitian Diaspora Liaison at the Clinton Foundation and has provided pro bono technical assistance to the Ministry of Social Affairs as the Head of Secretariat of the Interministerial Housing Commission and interface with the Interim Haiti Reconstruction Commission (IHRC). He worked at Atlantic Philanthropies and was the project Executive in the office of the President and CEO.
Prior to Atlantic, Johnny spent five years as a Senior Manager at the Robin Hood Foundation. He was responsible for developing the strategic direction for the Operations team and served as a senior member of Robin Hood’s Management Assistance team. He also spent five years at Accenture – a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company – as a manager in their Human Performance practice.
As an entrepreneur, Johnny has started a number of businesses in the US and Haiti. He is an active member of the diaspora. He is a founding member and former Board Chair of the New York French American Charter School (NYFACS) – the first French based charter in NYC, and a board member of the Haitian Roundtable whose objective is to promote civic engagement as well as philanthropic endeavors by Haitian professionals. He is a resident of Harlem where he was appointed by his city councilmember to serve as a member of local community board.
Johnny has a Masters in International Affairs from the New School University, Graduate Program in International Affairs and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Iona College.
